“Work it” – Missy Elliot
The unique, surreal and downright fresh artistry of “Work It” is a hallmark of Missy Elliots signature style. She and Timberland made some of the best hip hop tracks of the 90’s and 00’s and the accompanying music videos remain just as iconic. Just try not to dance when you hear this song!

A protege of Missy Elliot, Ciara came in hot to the music scene with her breakout hit, “Goodies.” This video features smooth and sultry movements with an ode to the dirty south style. Plus, the beat is undeniable.
“Here it Goes Again” – OK, Go
“Here it Goes Again” is entertaining, funny and quite honestly impressive. The hilarious and almost trance inducing “tread mill-ography” blew audiences away upon the videos release, and is still a beloved piece of music video culture. Here we see the four members of OK, Go showing the world that you can do something mundane and make it awesome, and that you don’t have to be a professional dancer to make a dance video.
“Gold” – Chet Faker
While it’s not a dance video per say, Chet Faker’s “Gold” is worthy of mentioning. Three rollerskate pros grace us with a smooth, musical and mesmerizing performance. We find ourselves almost hypnotized by their fluidity, control and effortless swag. You may even feel inspired to try on a pair of skates after you watch it!
“I’m A Slave 4 U” – Britney Spears
What video list would be complete without pop princess Britney Spears! “I’m A Slave 4 U” is a sensual exploration through a dewy haze of dance, sweat and eyeliner. Choreographed by Wade Robson, this video gives us the feeling that we just wanna move. “Like that!”
