A new month means a new crop of videos we’re instantly obsessed with. Here’s what our eyes will be glued on for the entire month of April…
Vocal Adrenaline’s final performance on “Glee”
OK, so “Glee” may not have been at its prime for the past few seasons. But the last two episodes packed a dance-filled punch, complete with high-octane performance numbers and all the wit, charm, and banter we loved from the show’s early seasons. Although Vocal Adrenaline didn’t take the title on the show’s final face-off (New Directions FTW!), the group’s performance was downright mesmerizing. Those lifts! That sass! Those humans being shot out of cannons! We’ll miss you, “Glee,” and we’ll love you forever. (Feel free to get lost in the show’s YouTube channel for, oh, the next few weeks straight.)
Sia — “Big Girls Cry”
Maddie Ziegler and Sia strike again. In their third video collaboration, shot entirely in close-up, Maddie shines. As a dancer who typically communicates emotion using her entire body, Maddie instead relies on Ryan Heffington’s “upper body only” choreography for this video. And it’s remarkable. Don’t believe us? Just watch.
Vanessa Hudgens and the cast of Broadway’s Gigi on “Good Morning America”
Vanessa Hudgens sure has come a long way since her days as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical films. Now, she’s making her Broadway debut as the leading lady in Gigi, choreographed by Josh Bergasse (he’s the move-maker from “Smash!”). The show officially opened on Broadway earlier this week—but in case you can’t make it to the Great White Way, here’s Vanessa and her costars (check out the very dreamy Corey Cott as her love interest) singing “The Night They Invented Champagne” live on “Good Morning America.”
